This degree will help you to become an expert in planning, designing and construction, whilst you'll specialise in subjects like 'mine power and services', 'surface mining operations', and 'mineral deposit evaluation'. Mining Engineers are in high demand across Australia and the Asia Pacific. This degree will prepare you for a broad and rewarding career.Using our new $43 million Science and Engineering Precinct, you'll learn the key skills needed by all engineers. You'll find out how to cost and analyse project resource, conduct tests and research, and gather and analyse data. You'll be relied upon when you're in the industry to make important decisions and back it up with data.Your career can range from planning, design and construction work to management.
