Course Description

Combine expertise in the design and manufacture mechanical devices and provide solutions, with the business know-how to succeed in the international market.

This program combines the latest in mechatronics technologies, systems engineering and additive manufacturing with international business studies and high-level financial and economic analysis.

You'll learn to design, build and operate smart systems in aerospace, automotive, food processing and electronics industries, and oversee the development of large-scale, global manufacturing facilities.

With studies in international business you'll be able to perform high-level financial and economic analyses with a global perspective.

You’ll have the opportunity to design creative solutions through inspiring and sustainable design-and-build projects, as well as taking part in the Engineers Without Borders Challenge - a humanitarian-focused course offered in all RMIT engineering degrees.

To ensure you graduate job-ready, you’ll also have an opportunity to undertake a work-integrated learning (industry experience) elective.
