Students spend 40 weeks gaining direct experience in industry by working with Swinburne’s industry partners. Placements may be completed in organisations such as Accenture, Deloitte, GE, KPMG, Melbourne Water, Newcrest Mining, PriceWaterhouseCoopers, Seek, Siemens, SMS Management &, Technology or Unico Computer Systems. Students receive an industry-funded scholarship totalling approximately $40,000, which is paid over the duration of the course.
This innovative course has been designed in partnership with leading Australian companies to equip students with the knowledge and skills to move quickly into senior IT positions after graduation. Students develop skills in analysis, design and implementation of systems, and will become prepared for managing technology in practice.
