This honours program enables you to build on the knowledge obtained in your undergraduate science degree and focus on one of the following areas of study: Chemistry, Computing, Environment and Agriculture, Geographic Information Science, Geology, Geophysics, Mathematics or Physics.
This 1 year full-time, 2 year part-time (maximum) course is available at Hobart and, subject to available supervision, at Launceston.
Drawing on the Faculty of Science's extensive portfolio of subjects, as well as other faculties' subject offerings and approved tertiary study you have previously undertaken, this degree aims to increase your potential to meet diverse vocational needs in an increasingly broad variety of science environments.
Ideal for students interested in independent research, this course involves a research thesis on the student's topic of choice, preparing them for a scientific research career.
