The Course in Working Safely in the Solar Industry is designed to ensure workers have the skills and knowledge required for the installation of Photovoltaic (PV) systems and solar water systems. We are no longer accepting applications for this course.
Entry Requirements

To be eligible, students must be at least 16 years of age.

Applicants wishing to enter this qualification will be electricians, plumbers, building practitioners, trades assistants and apprentices across these industries who install solar panel/water collectors.

Minimum language, literacy and numeracy skills equivalent to Level 3 of the Australian Core Skills Framework (ACSF).

Licensed electricians (A Grade) must have:

Students who have previously completed the Certificate I in Work Education are ideal candidates to enrol in this course to build their skills, knowledge and confidence ready to enter the workforce or move on to further study.
