This program provides students with the knowledge and skills to assist in the planning of learning environments and experiences for young children as well as provide for their physical and emotional care.

On entry, you will need to demonstrate appropriate reading, writing and oral communication skills by undertaking a literacy assessment (ASCF level 3). You may be required to undertake additional Foundation Skills subjects to support your learning and success in this program.
If you are entering this program as a trainee under the Australian Apprenticeships arrangements you must be employed in the industry and you must register with an Apprentice Network Provider (ANP) prior to enrolment.
To study any course at CIT (excluding degrees and non-accredited training) you must have a Unique Student Identifier (USI).
