Applicants for the graduate certificate must normally hold an approved degree or equivalent qualification from an approved tertiary institution.

Graduate Certificate

Applicants for the graduate certificates must normally hold an approved degree or equivalent qualification from an approved tertiary institution. Applicants for the Graduate Certificate in Aged Care Administration and Graduate Certificate in Health Administration must have at least two years’ professional experience in the health or aged care sector following completion of their approved degree or equivalent qualification. Applicants without a degree, who have extensive work experience in the health or aged care sectors and are able to supply documentary evidence, may also be accepted for entry.

Graduate Diploma

Applicants for the graduate diploma must normally hold an approved degree or equivalent qualification from an approved tertiary institution. Applicants for the Graduate Diploma in Health Administration must have at least two years’ professional experience in the health or aged care sector following completion of their approved degree or equivalent qualification. Applicants without a degree, who have extensive work experience in the health or aged care sectors and are able to supply documentary evidence, may also be accepted for entry.

Masters

Applicants for the masters degrees must normally hold an approved degree or equivalent qualification from an approved tertiary institution. Applicants for the Master of Health Administration and the Master of Science (Health Administration) must have at least four years’ professional experience in the health or aged care sector following completion of their approved degree or equivalent qualification. Graduates of the Flinders Graduate Certificate in Aged Care Administration, Graduate Certificate in Health Administration and Graduate Diploma in Health Administration may also be accepted for entry to the Master of Health Administration once they have gained at least four years’ professional experience.

Graduate Certificate

Applicants for the graduate certificates must normally hold a bachelor degree or equivalent from an approved tertiary institution. Candidates with considerable work experience can also be considered for admission to one of our graduate certificates.

Graduate Diploma

Applicants for the graduate diploma must normally hold a bachelor degree or equivalent from an approved tertiary institution. Candidate who have completed one of our graduate certificates but not a bachelor degree or equivalent from an approved tertiary institution will be considered for admission if they have achieved the required GPA.

Masters

Applicants for the masters degrees must hold a bachelor degree or equivalent from an approved tertiary institution. Candidates who have completed our graduate diploma but not a bachelor degree or equivalent from an approved tertiary institution will be considered for admission if they have achieved the required GPA.

Graduate Certificate

Applicants for the graduate certificate must normally hold an approved undergraduate degree or equivalent in a health-related area – eg behavioural science, counselling, nursing, occupational therapy, psychology or social work.

Graduate Diploma

Applicants for the graduate diploma must normally hold an approved undergraduate degree or equivalent in a health-related area – eg behavioural science, counselling, medicine, nursing, occupational therapy, psychology or social work.

Masters

Applicants for the graduate diploma must normally hold an approved undergraduate degree or equivalent in a health-related area – eg behavioural science, counselling, medicine, nursing, occupational therapy, psychology or social work.

Graduate Certificate

Applicants for the Graduate Certificate in Education (Cognitive Psychology and Educational Practice) must normally hold an approved bachelor degree or equivalent qualification from an approved tertiary institution.

Masters

Masters (2 years): Applicants must hold an approved bachelor degree or equivalent qualification.

Masters (1.5 years): Applicants must hold a bachelor degree in education, teaching or a closely related discipline.

Graduate Certificate

Applicants to the graduate certificate program must normally hold an approved degree or equivalent qualification in a health profession from an approved tertiary institution.

Graduate Diploma

Applicants to the graduate diploma must normally hold an approved degree or equivalent qualification and must be registered nurses in Australia. Applicants who are registered as nurses in a country other than Australia must normally hold an approved degree or equivalent qualification and may be admitted.

Masters

Applicants to the masters must normally hold an approved degree or equivalent qualification and must be registered nurses in Australia. Applicants who are registered as nurses in a country other than Australia must normally hold an approved degree or equivalent qualification and may be admitted.

Graduate Certificate

Applicants must normally hold an approved degree or equivalent qualification from an approved tertiary institution and have a minimum of two years’ relevant work experience within an organisation.

Applicants must normally hold a nursing degree or equivalent qualification, be registered nurses, and have a minimum of one year’s post-registration experience.

Graduate Certificate

Applicants for the graduate certificate must normally have completed an approved bachelor degree in biological, agricultural or medical science with a credit average (5.0) or higher.

Graduate Diploma

Applicants for the graduate diploma must normally have completed an approved bachelor degree in biological, agricultural or medical science with a credit average (5.0) or higher.

Masters

Applicants for the masters must normally have completed an approved bachelor degree in biological, agricultural or medical science with a credit average (5.0) or higher.

Graduate Certificate

Applicants for the graduate certificate must normally hold an approved degree or equivalent qualification in any relevant discipline of science or engineering from an approved tertiary institution.

Graduate Diploma

Applicants for the graduate diploma must normally hold an approved degree or equivalent qualification in any relevant discipline of science or engineering from an approved tertiary institution.

Masters

Applicants for the masters must normally hold an approved degree or equivalent qualification in any relevant discipline of science or engineering from an approved tertiary institution.

Admission pathways Applicants can apply for this course using Year 12 qualifications, previous higher education study, TAFE/VET qualifications, or through adult entry (STAT/Foundation Studies/tertiary preparation course). For applicants using their SACE (Year 12) results (or equivalent), entry is subject to achieving a minimum selection rank of 60.
