Entry requirements

There are no formal entry requirements for this course, however students will need a fair level of physical capability to undertake simulation classes. Students should have the stamina to be on their feet and work all day, and clean enclosures, bedding, surfaces and floors.

They should also be able to handle required tools and equipment, lift and move equipment, food items and stock. Potentially, they will be capturing, restraining and moving animals during simulation activities.

Prior to enrolment or commencement of training you will be required to complete a literacy and numeracy assessment and a pre-training interview. These will assist with determining your suitability to the course, verify your training plan, and identify any learning support needs.
