The Certificate III in Cabinet Making will give you a range of skills and knowledge in the kitchen, bathroom, installation, and furniture for the manufacture of furniture and cabinetry products. provides comprehensive training in cabinet making.
All applicants must have an Epsilon registration and signed contract with an employer and a signed training plan with Holmesglen.
Prior to enrolment or commencement of training, you will be required to complete a literacy and numeracy assessment and a pre-training interview. These will assist with determining your suitability to the course, verify you training plan, and identify any learning support needs.

This course will give you a range of skills and knowledge in the kitchen, bathroom, installation, and furniture making for the manufacture of furniture and cabinetry products.
You will learn to use a range of specialist machinery, including CNC machining and processing centres (rail and flat-bed), as well as preparing and working from computer-aided drawings and associated cutting lists.
With regards to each machine, you will learn about the material you are processing and how to use the machine itself-from basic to high-end production machinery such as computer numerically controlled (CNC) machines.
You will be taught the correct setup, operational, basic maintenance, and troubleshooting of machining and construction methods for the kitchen, bathroom, and furniture making processes.
There are two possible specialist streams in this qualification:
Stream 1: Kitchen Bathroom
Stream 2: Furniture
You may be able to reduce the number of units to be studied in your chosen course by measuring skills acquired through work, life experiences or qualifications obtained from formal studies or training. AQF qualifications and statements of attainment issued by another registered training organisation will be recognised by Holmesglen.
