This subject is designed to expose students to process of working with clay. This course will include an examination of clay, and decoration methods. The subject provides graduates with related knowledge, skills, creativity and innovation, visual expression and communication in art and design to contribute towards the creative industry and one's own lifelong learning.

On completing the course, students will be able to:

  • Apply art terminology related to ceramic art.
  • Demonstrate the understanding of clay properties and the processes of preparing clay for ceramic construction.
  • Solve problem during creation of hand-build ceramic work related to the process of using clay
