It will include management techniques and strategies required for successful event programme planning, budgeting, contracts, marketing, destination site, facility selection, food and lodging, sponsorship, logistics and others. It addresses the industry's current need for graduates with the knowledge, skills and competencies to take up a variety of roles within the industry and other related sectors. The subject also provides students an understanding about the 'MICE' industry.
