Overview

This subject takes a comprehensive and balanced look at the changing world of mass media. Through the different topics studied, the students will gain a global perception of the history and evolution of the mass media and will obtain a general understanding in the usage and effect of different media.

On completing the course, students will be able to:

  1. Locate the roles and functions of mass communication.
  2. Discuss the dynamics of mass media.
  3. Present the usage and effects of mass communication in a teamwork setting.
