The 3a Affiliate Trainer course equips early childhood educators with evidence-based strategies to enhance interactions with children and lead practitioner-level training within their organizations. Participants gain certification and access to resources for 12 months.

The Abecedarian Approach Australia (3 _a_) is a set of practical, evidence-based teaching and learning strategies that enhance the quality of interactions with young children and support child development and learning. It is proven to have a positive impact on child, educator and family outcomes, with lasting change in children's lives both before and after they start school.
This course is for early childhood educators wanting to take the next step in 3 _a_ to lead practitioner-level training within their organisations and play an important role in ensuring quality of 3 _a_ at an organisational level.
Training includes certification for 12 months and access to the online 3 _a_ member community and resources.
To be eligible, you must have completed 3 _a_ Practitioner.

Drawing on the principles of adult learning, gain a sound understanding of the role and responsibilities of the 3 _a_ Affiliate Trainer, including leading practitioner-level training and building and maintaining the quality of 3 _a_ at an organisational level.
Building on the 3 _a_ Practitioner training, you will spend time revising key 3 _a_ concepts and lexicon, including: Language Priority, Conversational Reading, Learning Games, and Enriched Caregiving.
Drawing on your new skills and knowledge, you'll turn your attention to planning and facilitating a training session, which you could apply in your own setting.

3 _a_ Affiliate Trainer is for early childhood educators and parents wishing to enhance the quality of education-based interactions with children, and ultimately advance children's learning outcomes. It is designed to use with children from birth to age five.
To be eligible, you must have completed 3 _a_ Practitioner.
The Faculty of Education is at the forefront of 3 _a_ strategy Australia-wide. Our specialist training will provide you with practical, evidence-based teaching and learning strategies you can use in your setting immediately.
By the end of this course you will be able to lead practitioner-level training within your organisations to build and maintain the quality of 3 _a_ at an organisational level.
The Faculty of Education is at the forefront of 3 _a_ strategy Australia-wide and offers specialist 3 _a_ training. You'll learn from education specialists.
This course runs over one day.
To become a certified 3 _a_ Affiliate Trainer, you need to successfully complete the knowledge test within 14 days of training.
The knowledge test assesses your understanding of the training. You need to achieve a score of 80% or more to pass it. You can sit the test up to three times.
