There are no eligibility requirements.

This course will equip you with the leadership skills needed to navigate the unique contemporary challenges and opportunities in Australia and globally.

It's been developed in consultation with leading professional services organisations, major business stakeholder organisations, and human resource management and organisational development practitioners.

It's aligned with the criteria for Australian Human Resource Institute accreditation and the Society for Human Resource Management certification.

By the end of this course, you will have enhanced your capacity to lead others and confidently make ethical decisions. You'll be able to:

  • Inquire and evaluate sources of workplace pressure that impede ethical judgement and decision making
  • Interpret how personal values and societal perspectives influence ethical judgement and decision making
  • Apply a comprehensive framework incorporating alternative approaches to ethical decision making.

This course runs over four weeks.

Your total time commitment is approximately 42 hours, which includes:

  • 9 hours of guided learning
  • 13 hours private study (including discussion forums and readings)
  • 20 hours assessment tasks.

Assessment:

  • An integrative leadership development activity (60%)
  • A short-answer and multiple-choice test (30%)
  • Discussion forum and webinar participation (10%)

Once you've successfully completed this course, you will be awarded your Ethical Judgement Melbourne MicroCert. This digital certificate will warrant the achievement of knowledge, skills and capabilities outlined in the learning outcomes. It may also include artefacts (such as videos and written material) related to both experiential and work-integrated learning, including translatable assessment that is practical to your professional life. You can also share your Melbourne MicroCert digitally and via social media by adding it to your personal platforms, such as LinkedIn. See example certificate.
