Leading Change is designed for a diverse range of professionals seeking to develop their leadership ability and knowledge.

This course runs over four weeks.

Your total time commitment is approximately 42 hours, which includes:

  • 9 hours guided learning
  • 13 hours private study, including discussion forums and readings
  • 20 hours assessment tasks.

Assessment:

  • A leadership development activity (60%)
  • Short-answer questions to assess your leadership style (30%)
  • Discussion forum and webinar participation (10%).

Once you've successfully completed this course, you will be awarded your Leading Change Melbourne MicroCert. This digital certificate will warrant the achievement of knowledge, skills and capabilities outlined in the learning outcomes. It may also include artefacts (such as videos and written material) related to both experiential and work-integrated learning, including translatable assessment that is practical to your professional life. You can also share your Melbourne MicroCert digitally and via social media by adding it to your personal platforms, such as LinkedIn. See example certificate.

To use Leading Change this way, you need to complete all four micro-credentials from the Adaptive Leadership series, in any order you choose, and then apply for credit towards MGMT90264 Adaptive Leadership.

You can use the Managing Teams series in a similar way by completing all four micro-credentials in that series, in any order you choose, and then apply for credit towards the subject MGMT90265 Managing Teams.

This is a highly flexible course designed to provide you with a rich and effective learning experience. It includes a combination of live webinars, online lectures, skills development exercises, case studies and scenarios, contemporary readings and resources, facilitated group discussions, and hands-on workplace interventions.

This micro-credential will expire after five years of issue as particular skills and/or knowledge may need to be refreshed.
