Course structure

This course runs over four weeks, including two weeks of learning and two weeks for assessment.

Your total time commitment is approximately 42 hours, which includes:

  • 8 hours guided online learning
  • 13 hours self-guided study
  • 21 hours assessment tasks.

Assessment:

  • Data strategy development: develop a data strategy for an organisation (real or imagined) that briefs staff in the progressive use of the organisation's data for analytics (100%).

Credit for prior study or work

It offers a pathway, otherwise known as advanced standing, into the Master of Information Sytems. To use it this way, you need to complete all four micro-credentials in the Leveraging Organisational Data series, then apply for credit towards the master's.
