Entry Requirements
Admission requires the completion of the BKSB assessment with an outcome of ACSF exit level 3 - working level 4, for both literacy and numeracy., Applicants must be 18 years or over, Applicants must be physically capable of sustaining CPR for at least two (2) minutes on the floor to successfully complete the requirements of the course, Chisholm requires learners to complete one placement of 80 hours in stage 2 of the course at range of community, government and youth services agencies, Learner are required to attend an interview enrolment session, Please note: In order to complete the qualification applicants must be able to produce a satisfactory voluntary Working with Children Check and recent National Police Check is prior to commencing placement.

All students must be a minimum of 16 years of age in January of the year of course commencement., have a demonstrated capacity in learning ,reading ,writing and oracy to level 3 and numeracy to level 2 of the Australian Core Skills Framework (ACSF), Year 10 Maths and English is recommended. All students are required to attend a compulsory information session before their applications are to be accepted.
