Students will be required to apply for enrolment. A starter pack will be forwarded to the student, this will include a Pre-Training Review (PTR) requiring completion, to ensure students suitability for this training. An invitation to complete an online enrolment form will be forwarded to the student to complete the enrolment process. Enrolments will need to be complete ten days prior to delivery.

It is a legal requirement that all persons operating a VHF or MF/HF Marine Radio hold a Certificate of Proficiency. This includes recreational vessels as well as commercial operators. SEAMEC offers Marine Radio Operator training to both Commercial and Recreational boat operators.

Please keep in mind that the practical activities and assessments in this training require a degree of physical ability, to perform the CPR component. You must be able to complete CPR to a manikin on the floor for at least 2 minutes.
